Products

PRD

Are these products for human use?
No. Every product sold by Lumera Labs is intended strictly for in-vitro laboratory research use. These materials are not FDA-approved and are not intended for human or animal use, diagnostic use, or any therapeutic application. By purchasing, you affirm that you are a qualified researcher acquiring these materials for laboratory research purposes only.
How are your products tested?
Each batch we receive undergoes quality control checks, and materials are verified through third-party analytical testing methods, including HPLC (high-performance liquid chromatography) and mass spectrometry. Certificates of Analysis (COAs) are published on our COA page, available upon request, and included with shipments.
Why does the appearance of a vial sometimes differ from a previous order?
Lyophilized (freeze-dried) peptide powders can show minor natural variation in color, texture, or density from batch to batch. This is a normal characteristic of the lyophilization process and is not an indicator of purity or quality. Batch-to-batch identity and purity are confirmed through analytical testing, not visual appearance.
What form do your peptides ship in?
Our peptides are supplied as lyophilized (freeze-dried) powder, sealed in glass vials. This form is used to preserve stability of the research material during shipping and storage.
The powder in my vial looks cracked or uneven. Is something wrong?
No. Lyophilized powder can shift, settle, or develop small cracks in its “cake” structure during transit due to handling and vibration. This is a cosmetic effect only and does not indicate a problem with the material itself.
How should I store products upon receipt?
Store research materials in a cool, dry location, away from direct light. For longer-term storage, refrigeration or freezing is generally recommended to help preserve the integrity of research materials. These are general storage guidelines only; Lumera Labs does not provide reconstitution, handling, or usage instructions.

My order hasn’t arrived yet. What should I do?
Once a package leaves our facility, transit times are handled by the carrier and delays can occur that are outside of our control. If your order is running later than expected, contact support@lumeralabs.is with your order number and we’ll look into it.
My order arrived missing an item, damaged, or incorrect. What now?
Contact support@lumeralabs.is within 7 days of delivery. For damaged items, please include photos of the damage so we can process a replacement in accordance with our Refund & Returns policy.
My package shows as delivered but I never received it, or I entered the wrong address.
Lumera Labs is not responsible for packages stolen or lost after the carrier confirms delivery, nor for orders shipped incorrectly due to an address entered wrong at checkout. Please double-check your shipping address carefully before submitting your order.

Account & Orders

ORD

Do I need an account to place an order?
Yes. Purchases require a registered account and completion of a research-use attestation confirming you are 21 years of age or older and a qualified researcher acquiring materials for laboratory research purposes. Create or access your account at the Research Access portal.
What do the different order statuses mean?
  • Pending payment — order placed, awaiting Zelle or Venmo payment
  • On hold — payment received and currently being verified
  • Processing — payment verified, order is being prepared for shipment
  • Completed — order has shipped and tracking has been sent
  • Cancelled — order was cancelled
I didn’t receive a confirmation email. What should I do?
First, check your spam or junk folder. If it’s not there, confirm that the email address on your account is correct, then contact support@lumeralabs.is for assistance.
What is your returns and refunds policy?
Per our Refund & Returns policy:

  • Opened products are final sale and cannot be returned.
  • Unopened, unused products in their original packaging may be returned within 14 days of delivery.
  • Items damaged in transit are eligible for replacement if reported within 7 days of delivery.
Do you screen orders?
Yes. Lumera Labs maintains a zero-tolerance policy regarding misuse of our research materials. Orders are screened, and any order where intent to misuse research materials is suspected will be cancelled, with permanent refusal of future service.

Payments

PAY

What payment methods do you accept?
We currently accept Zelle and Venmo. Additional card payment options are being added. For both Zelle and Venmo, include only your order number in the payment memo or note. All orders are verified before shipping.
Why does the payment memo need to contain only the order number?
The order number is how we match your payment to your order. Payments submitted with a memo or note containing anything other than the order number cannot be matched, and the associated order will be cancelled with the payment returned.
